* Queridos amigos:

Hoy, por fin, vuelvo por estas tierras. En primer lugar, pediros mil disculpas por haber estado desaparecida tanto tiempo. La verdad es que no he parado de trabajar y de dibujar un poquito también. ¡Os iré mostrando todo lo que se ha ido cocinando por aquí!

En segundo lugar, quiero daros las gracias a todos los que me seguís, tanto dentro como fuera de las pantallas. Sois un gran apoyo e inspiración y me dais ilusión cada día para seguir viviendo de mi vocación. ¡Gracias, gracias, gracias!

Finalmente puedo compartir con vosotros esta ilustración en la que he estado trabajando, ¡espero que os guste! Aprovecho también la ocasión para deciros que nunca dejéis de mirar las estrellas y de soñar; pues a veces los sueños no están tan lejos como parece, y merece la pena luchar para alcanzarlos.

Today, finally, I come back here. First of all, I want to apologize for being missing so much time. The truth is, that I´ve been working and drawing a lot. I´ll show you what I´ve been creating!

I want also to thank all the people that follow me on and off line. You´re a big support and inspiration to me, to keep living off my vocation. Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Today I can finally share with you this illustration I´ve been working on (I hope you like it!), and tell you to look always at the stars and keep dreaming. Because sometimes, dreams are not so far away as they seem to be, and the effort to reach them worth it.

Learning calligraphy

* Quién dice que la caligrafía está pasada de moda? Estas dos semanas tuvimos un seminario de caligrafía impartido por Nieves Torralba. Era la primera vez que lo hacía y me sentí entre una niña que aprende a escribir (amigos/as, os prometo que no es tan sencillo como parece...;) y un monje escribano. Me he quedado con el gusanillo de seguir practicando mi itálica y Neuland, así que me haré con un par de plumillas en cuanto pueda para repetir! ;) Besos, E*

* Who says that calligraphy is old-fashioned? This past two weeks we had a seminar taught by Nieves Torralba. It was my first time and I felt between a little girl learning to write (my friends, I promise you, it´s not so easy as it seems... ;) and a scribe. I would like to continue working on my italic and Neuland, so I´ll get some pens to repeat! Kisses, E*

Queridos amigos/as,

prefiero no contar los meses que han pasado desde que no publico ningún post! Mi vida ha vuelto a dar un giro inesperado; de esos que te hacen comenzar vida de cero... 

Por una parte este verano aproveché para visitar nuevos lugares y encontrar nuevas inspiraciones: Estuve en Kos de vacas con P, después en Marruecos con mi madre, pasando por Madrid... Vacaciones bien merecidas para recargar las pilas!

Y bueno, novedades fresquitas... Me cogieron para estudiar un máster de diseño e ilustración en Valencia, así que sí... He vuelto a España! He empezado hace un par de semanitas y de momento pinta estupendamente! ;) Ya os iré mostrando algunos trabajillos, de momento os dejo un regalo de boda que hice para la hermana de P que se casó en Italia este sábado.

Dear friends,

I prefer not to count how long has it been since I don´t post! My life has turned around in a new direction and I start from scratch again...

On one side I visited new places and found new inspirations this summer during holidays: I´ve been in Kos with P, after in Morocco with mum, also in Madrid... Well-deserved vacations to recharge the batteries!

And well, I´ve got some fresh news...I´ve been selected to study a master about design and illustration in Valencia, so yes... I came back to Spain! It started a couple of weeks ago and looks great! ;) I´ll let you see some works soon. For now I leave you a weeding present I made for P´s sister. She married in Italy last Saturday.

* Bueno, aquí os presento la primera parte de las ilustraciones que hice en el estudio Linkable, para la revista Anleger Plus número 4. La verdad es que no tenía mucha experiencia dibujando transformers o cualquier otro tipo de máquina (y he de admitir que nunca antes me habían interesado demasiado... o.O), pero después de crear estos monstruitos sucedieron dos cosas: La primera fue que terminé imaginando todo a mi alrededor compuesto de tuercas, engranajes y demás cachivaches; la segunda descubrir que, de hecho, componer y dibujar transformers... Es más divertido de lo que había pensado! ;)

* Well, here I present you the first part of the illustrations I made at Linkable studio, for the magazine Anleger Plus Nr. 4. To tell you the truth I didn´t have so much experience drawing transformers or any other kind of machines (and I must admit, I wasn´t even very interested on them... o.O) but after creating these little mosters, two facts happened: First, I could see eveything around me composed of nuts, gears and other staff; second, I found out that in fact drawing transformers is funnier as I supposed it would be! ;)
